On Saturday at 8:30 pm ET the Milwaukee Bucks will look to close it out in Game 6 vs the Atlanta Hawks. Although the Milwaukee Bucks are without superstar Giannis Antetekoumpo, the Hawks are without their offensive maestro Trae Young, which certainly hurts them.
The Milwaukee Bucks are obviously better with Giannis on the floor but in Game 5 we saw several bucks step up in Giannis’ absence which shows you how talented this Bucks team is.
Brook Lopez showed flashes of being the great scorer he once was with the Nets as he had a career playoff game in Giannis’ absence pouring in 33 points, 7 rebounds, and protecting the paint on defense.
Khris Middleton also helped lead the Bucks alongside Lopez as he finished with 26 points 13 rebounds and 8 assists impacting the game in many different ways.
The injury report ahead of Saturday night’s showdown has Giannis as doubtful and the Hawks Trae Young as questionable, if Young is upgraded to probable he will be a key for Atlanta to win as he is such an important piece for their offense.
Trae Young is a threat from deep, in the pick and roll and driving to the rim as he can easily burn you with a perimeter jump-shot, draw a foul, drop in a floater, or throw a lob to a cutting Capela/Collins.
With Giannis’ outlook for Bobby Portis to get an extended run as he produced a solid game with 22 points and 8 rebounds in Giannis’ absence despite Coach Budenholzer not playing him many minutes before Game 5. Anticipate All-Star caliber Guard Jrue Holiday to get going as the Bucks look to close out the Hawks on Saturday night
